My name is Shalini Agrawal, and for years I have dedicated my career to nurturing young minds, currently serving at Stanford Preschool. My journey in education began after I moved to Madison, Wisconsin, in 1979 to join my husband, Rakesh, following the completion of my MBA from Allahabad University. When I came to California with my husband and children, I initially worked in finance, my true passion for child development led me to further my studies at De Anza College.

Beyond my professional life, I am a proud mother of two and a doting grandmother. I love staying active with my granddaughter—whether we are exploring the outdoors or reading together—and I carry that same energy into my community work.

When I am not in the classroom or with my family, I find inspiration in music, health, and spirituality. I believe that these personal interests help me stay centered and better serve others. I volunteer weekly at La Comida in Palo Alto and am eager to bring this same spirit of service.
